Banded shades, also referred to as dual shades or zebra shades, combine solid and sheer linear bands to form a single shade that gives you precise light control. When aligned, solid bands seamlessly block natural light and ensure privacy; when shifted, the sheer bands transition to diffuse light and reveal the view.
Design Options
Small Band Size
A smaller band is a great fit for most standard windows, and proportionally perfect.
Large Band Size
When there’s more window to cover, larger bands fill the space with finesse.
Fabric-Wrapped Bottomrail
Fabric-wrapped bottomrail is standard for a consistent, seamless look.
Non-Wrapped Bottomrail
Non-wrapped bottomrail is an optional accent with modern appeal. Rail color matches cassette color.
Fabric Headrail Insert
Color-coordinated fabric covers the headrail, providing a seamless look from top to bottom. Smaller banded fabrics will feature both the band and sheer in the headrail.
Two-on-One Headrail
Two independently operating shades share the same headrail for a cleaner, more unified look. Ideal for wide-set windows and patio doors.
Privacy Light Block
PVC privacy light block installs in minutes with an easy peel and stick application. This inside mount only option offers additional privacy and room dimming. Available in five colors.
